Kristen Liu
Co-District Director
Hi everyone! I’m Kristen Liu, a grade 11 student from Toronto, Ontario. I discovered a passion in music after learning how to play the piano at six years old. Since then, music has been a way for me to express myself and to connect with those around me who also love music. I believe music is a universal language that touches hearts and connects souls despite the barriers of age, language, cultures and ethnicities. As a result, I am excited to take on this opportunity of being the Toronto Branch Director for the Chords of Care. Through our performances, I hope we’re able to reach our audiences’ by spreading joy through music; creating smiles and hopefully bringing back memories from the seniors.

Kayla Patino
Co-District Director
My name is Kayla Patino, and I’m in grade 11 living in Toronto, Canada. I’ve been singing since I was five years old and took up guitar playing during the pandemic, which led me to become the leader of my school’s very own band! I joined Chords of Care because I love bringing joy to others and making people smile through music. Outside of music, I enjoy getting involved in school sports and spending time with my family and friends. I believe music is a powerful way to connect with others, and I encourage everyone to share their talents and spread kindness wherever they can.
